My US MVP collegue Ed Bott has published a few minutes ago an article Microsoft reverses course, restores downloads of Windows 10 November Update at ZDNet.com. Microsoft already has re-enabled the possibility, to download Windows 10 version 1511 using Media Creation Tools. And Microsoft has released a statement, why they have pulled the download last weekend.

I would like to ask, if there is a possibility to download Windows 10 1511 iso. I don't have access to Technet (no subscription). I have access to Microsoft Dreamspark, but only Anniversary update is there.

twice now, it downloads it (takes hours btw) and then at the end says failed to start setup or something like that. I cant install it through the windows update program itself either. so thanks microsoft -_-

FYI these steps (especially the media creation tool) will not work with a volume license copy of Windows 10 Enterprise from MSDN. The media creation tool will take an error saying it is not for the version of Windows you are using. Per MS Support I also tried the Windows Update repair tool and that failed to work as well.

Anyone have a copy of the 1511 iso 32bit I could download? I have an older Dell Latitude 10 tablet with 8.1 that I tried upgrading to Windows 10 when we got the option to, but it refused to upgrade at the time. I had tried following articles and downloading a bunch of updates to get it to do it, but gave up on it and it sat on the shelf for a couple years. We have another same model and everything tablet and that upgrade worked fine. I'm now trying to get this one upgraded to 10, but now the new media creation tool only has the newer iso files which don't support the old ARM processor in this tablet anymore (already tried it and it failed). I have an old 1511 iso but it's 64bit and this tablet is a 32bit. Sheesh this is a lot of work just to try to get the tablet to stop booting up with the wifi not working and then needing to login as an admin to disable/enable it so it will. Thanks in advance!!

If you use the media creation tool you can create a media for another device or choose you want to update this pc. Please choose the latter.
